SCS/Track™ 5.3.0
Quick Order Entry
-
Quick Order Entry has been re-written using a responsive design. Functionality from the previous version was brought forward while the look and feel and flow of the interface has been greatly improved. The new interface can be used in both normal web browser in addition to working on most standard devices like iPhones, Android phones, tables, iPads, etc.

Ads can now be duplicated from the Ad Info page. The user will be given two options as part of the duplicate ad process: copy ad and copy ad with files. All ad information will be copied to the Ad Create page prefilling everything and requiring the user to enter an ad kind and any other required fields that may not be copied. Once submitted an automated pickup will be initiated to copy the files if the copy ad with files option was chosen.

Enhancements to arTrack: Files uploaded have the correct modification time that reflect when they were actually uploaded and added a column to the list of images indicating the color type: RGB, CMYK, Gray, etc. These changes were requested by the Los Angeles Times (Los Angeles, CA).
-
After submitting an ad, the popup that identifies that the submission was successful has two actions that can now be taken: return to the home page or submit more files for that ad. This enhancement was requested by Newsday (Melville, NY).
-
Changing the run date of an ad created in SCS/Track on the Ad Info page does not set the date until it is confirmed with the press of a green check. The change can also be cancelled reverting to the original date using the red x. The problem was that every time a user stopped on any date while scrolling through the calendar the old run date would be changed to the new and every one would be logged. Plus once a user started scrolling through the calendar there was no way to get back to the original date.
-
The custom forms for ad submit and ad create now have an option to require files. If this option is selected when the user is doing a submission or create ad, they will be required to upload files to move on with the submission. Previously uploading files was always options - now that can be determine by ad kind and by the individual site. This enhancement was requested by Newsday (Melville, NY).
-
Fixed a bug that would prevent Ad Submit or Ad Create from working correctly if the page type field contained double quotes.
-
Fixed a bug that prevented access to files in the files tab if file names contained either the # or ? characters.
-
Fixed a bug with the new pickup queue that would cause 1,000+ logs to be generated on certain ads with this assignment. This should address the excessive logging by only assigning an ad to a pickup queue if it is not already sitting at one. This bug was reported by the Los Angeles Times (Los Angeles, CA).
