SCS/Track™ 4.7.0-0
SCS/Track
-
The SCS/Track import utility matches incoming files first by the order id, then if no match is found by the ad vendor id. Previously the order id was only used. This addresses an issue reported by Newsday (Melville, NY).
- Deadlines may be cleared when an ad comes into SCS/Track from order entry forcing all configured deadlines to be recalculated at this time. An option has been added to the source table called Clear Deadline on Update, if this option is set and the ad arrives from order entry with the given source, the deadlines will be cleared before being recalculated. Leaving this option unchecked will preserve the behavior previous to this enhancement. These changes are specific to Newsday (Melville, NY).
-
Support has been added to SCS/Track to handle preflight exceptions. Normally when an ad is sent off to pagination, provided preflighting is configured, the ad will go through a queue specified on the media type. There is a new table called Preflight Exceptions that allows a media type, descriptive size and preflight queue to be specified. If a match is found in that table for an ad, it will use that preflight channel instead, otherwise it will still process through the normal path. These changes are specific to Newsday (Melville, NY).
-
The descriptive size field available on the Ad Info page when editing ad fields is now sorted in alphabetical order, previously it was displayed with no apparent or logical ordering.
-
Added support to send email as part of the routing process. If an email is configured on a Station and an the ad is routed to that station for any reason the associated email will be sent.
-
Fixed a bug that prevented a user from viewing a template from Ad Info, even if there was a valid template. This would occur when their was no external link for the ad and the user did not have permissions to edit the external link. This issue was reported by the Post-Gazette (Pittsburgh, PA).
