SCS/Track™ 3.2.0-0
Community Advertising Services™ 3.2.0-0
SCS/Track - General.
-
Users are now notified and require permission to force a checkout if an ad is checked out and they attempt to send that ad to FINAL, route or proof that ad.
-
Users are now notified, given the option to continue or cancel, if an ad is checked out and they attempt to pickup, e-mail, link to, or check out that ad.
-
A sync ad folder icon has been added to the ad launcher. Clicking this icon pulls any changes that have been made back on the server before the ad was checked out.
-
Improved the way SWFs and animated GIFs work as part of the proofing process. There is a new proof method that will allow these images to be embedded in the proof page and only accepts general comments without any mark-up options.
-
The ad description field has been extended from twenty (20) characters to thirty (30).
-
File names in both the supplemental ad files table and the image files table have been extended from forty (40) characters to one-hundred (100).
-
Improvements to searching in ad inquiry have been made so searches with multiple words and wild cards return the expected results. For example, NORTH SHO* returned no results even if there was a match, but NORT* by itself would work fine.
-
The main image does not appear twice on the ad proof and view all files pages, nor is it sent twice to pagination, if it appears in both the primary ad image list and the supplemental ad images file table.
-
Submitting files with a multi-byte character in the name would cause problems with submissions getting to the confirmation and ad folders, this issue has been resolved.
-
Submitting a file to an ad that already had a file in its folder with the same name prevented the uploaded file from getting moved into the ad folder without notification. Now the file gets moved into the ad folder with a 01, 02, etc. appended to the name.
-
Fixed a problem causing permissions to be set incorrectly on files during the pagination process.
-
Routing ads from the Ad Info page and the Ad Inquiry list now preserve the last route type and location, so that the next time a user routes an ad the type and location will always start with the last ones used.
- Fixed an issue with the main image also being a supplemental file. If the supplemental file and main image match, the image will not be shown twice in proofing or when viewing all images.
- Added a unique ID to the source database. This allows source to be reused with the copy to come conditions.
-
Added a new option to the XML interface to kill only future runs, as opposed to killing all runs.
-
Added support for double truck ads when reading in files from the XML interface.
SCS/Track - Interface from Order Entry.
- The email notification sent when ad changes come in from order entry now include ad make-up note changes as part of the items for which notifications are sent.
-
Ad notes coming from order entry get time-stamps and separators, making ad make-up notes much easier to read and follow.
- A double truck gutter can be set in the page types table. If that value is set and a double truck flag is sent from order entry, the ad will be sized with that gutter size included.
-
Added support for a new option to the XML interface that will kill all future runs for an ad before applying insertion updates for that ad, to handle deficiencies in certain order entry systems that do not pass kills properly to SCS/Track.
-
Ad notes were not preserved in SCS/Track if they were entered in the application and were sent over from order entry. The notes entered in order entry would always overwrite the notes entered manually in SCS/Track, this has been fixed.
Other Components.
- Users can now log into CAS using either their user name or email address.
-
Clicking on an order id in CP2O now opens the order on the SCS/Track ad info page.
- Quick Order Entry now supports product specific up-sells.
