AdMAX 10.64 (December 5, 2014)
Order Entry
Display a list of upsell attributes that is resticted by the product that is on the ad. The list will be blank until at least one product is on the ad. Only attribs that are valid for all products, or are valid for a specific product on the ad will be displayed. Enabled the ability to set extra charges and discounts, including overriding them, using the Upsells and Attributes function. Added upsell attribute support for Groups, MakeGood, Guaranetee Position and Color codes. Changing an upsell attribute field outside of the list will turn on/off the attribute as appropriate. Still allow extra charges and discounts to be entered on a specific insertion even when Upsell Attributes are in use. Attributes are order level transactions.
When deleting insertions that have deleted manually entered extra charges or discount, it was possible to accidently restore the manually entered charge back on the running insertions - which required the charge to be deleted again. This has been fixed.
Quick Order Entry Interface
Fixed a bug that could reset the ad size to 1x1 when editing an exisitng ad.
Load and Send Order Entry Upsell Attributes from/To QuickOE
Ad Posting
When prepayments are applied partially to a publishing date with the remainder going to the rest of the ad, it was possible for the amount applied to the specific date to be applied twice. Once on the date, and once on the last insertion.
Ad Purges
Added the ad attribute table associated with each order to the ad purge process.

Increased the size of the payment term lines from 60 to 200 characters.

Product Maintenance
Added a "Send to SCS/Track" option for standard products. This value will be initialized to Yes for all existing products as that was the previous default behavior for all products. This field is not currently being used.
Misc Cash Entry
When creating the payment and offsetting adjustment, they will immediately allocate an invoice number to apply the payment too, so that the transactions link together without having to do a second step.
XML Interface
Changed XML representation of width and height from a string to a number.
eTearAdBoss Interface
Sending Number of Colors, Descriptive Ad Size, Ad Width and Ad Height to eTearAdBoss.
Statements/Invoices - Standard Forms #2
If the fax or fed id values are blank, then the labels (FAX & FED ID) will no longer appear on the form.
Order Entry
Modified the classified sort text to allow the user to enter a sort tag at the beginning of the ad that can be used to modify the sort order, without appearing in the ad. To use the feature place the following between open and close composition marks which will be represented by { in this example. These open and close composition commands can be inserted by pressing the <F3> key in order entry on a standard AdMAX configuration.
{co <sort>value</sort>}
Replace value with the alternate sort information.
eInvoice Module

eTearAdBoss Interface
Don't send preprints to etearAdBoss
Top Sales Report
The report was not including the last customer account in the total for each salesperson. This has been fixed.
Rate Maintenance
Added a Minimum Charge field. If the amount of the rate is less than this amount, then this amount will be charged. The minimum charge value is only used if the rate calculates a non-zero value. If it returns 0.00, then the minimum charge is ignored. It does this so that we can still have extra charges, like color, that should only be charged if there is color on the ad, and for black and white ads we don't want the color charge to be added.
Order Entry
Transaction charges below the minimum amount specified on the rate will be set to the minimum amount.
AdMAX 10.59 (August 8, 2014)
SCS/Track Interface
Now preserves new lines when passing ad makeup notes to SCS/Track using the XML interface.
The interface will now pass columns instead of inches in the width field. It will also pass pixels or points when the singular UOM name is used in AdMAX. So PIXELS and PIXEL will both appear in the XML interface as PIXELS
Fixed uninitialized values for AdTextBlob and DeclinedPrepayment.
The Island Ad was being set to TRUE when it should have been left FALSE.
eTearAdBoss Interface
If an eTearAdBoss contact exists (contact code of ET) on the customer account, then the email from that contact will be sent to eTearAdBos. If one does not exist, then the primary email address will be used.
Customer Search List
Modified the list to display the Customer's Primary name at the top of the list. If the customer was located because the user entered an alias, then the alias name will also be displayed.
Modified to now take advantage of larger screen displays.
Group Maintenance
Fixed an issue that prevented exisintg groups from being edited.
User Maintenance
Added a CAS User ID to the user record. When an ad is created in CAS Quick Order Entry, AdMAX will locate the user record linked to the CAS User ID. If there is no CAS User ID, it will check the regular OS User ID, then the AdMAX User ID for possible matches. This will be used to set the ad taker in order entry when the ad taker is set based on the current user.
ASK/CRM Interface
Added SIC, Rate Code, and Product ID.
Added the option to resend all revenue, not just the last few months.
Queue Maintenance
Added the ability to duplicte all actions for one department to a new department. In the Action Configuration list, press <F9> or press <F12> and select "Copy all actions for a deparment" from the list.
You will be prompted to select a destination department.
AdMAX will then find all actions that are linked to the department attached to the current action and insert them for the new department.
If the action already exists, then it will be skipped.
Revenue Distribution
Adding Revenue Distribution Weight (RevDistWeight to the insert and ad extra data files).
AdMAX 10.58 (June 5, 2014)
ABS_SYNC
Removed the outdated abs_sync routines. All sites should be using the standard /etc/mirror configuration.
Large CTREE Support
Enabled support for large files by default.
Order Entry
When adding insertions to an ad in a personal hold queue, saving the ad so that it "keeps the personal queue" will assign the hold queue to the new insertion as well as keeping it in the old queue.
This is basically the same as using the "save in personal queue" option, except that it tries to maintain the queue which was originally used. If that queue is no longer available, then the ad will be placed in the current user's personal queue if that exists, otherwise the ad will be saved without a queue and a popup message will be displayed to the user that an attempt was made to save the ad in an invalid queue.
AdMAX 10.57 (May 27, 2014)
AdMAX Parameters
Web Configuration Module - Added the ability to set web options by ad type.
Added new Parameters:
Require Deliver Method to Send: This value is used with eTearAdBoss. If it is set to Y, then for an ad to be sent to eTearAdBoss it must have a tearsheet on the ad, and the tearsheet must specify a delivery method of Send To eTearAdBoss of Y. If the value is set to N, then an ad is sent regardless of whether a tearsheet or delivery method has been set on the ad. In either cases product based rules can restrict what ads are sent to eTearAdBoss
Salesperson Email Form: This value is part of the web configuration icon. It is used for retail ad that are entered through quick order entry. If a value is filled in, then when an ad is submitted the form can be emailed to the salesperson. If it is blank, no email is sent.
AdMAX Upgrade Installer
The installer will now abort if it is unable to identify the OS version or if the OS version is not compatible with the installation kit version.
The install module (installadmax.sh) will now determine the version of AdMAX before the upgrade is installed, and then at the end of the install run any post upgrade fixes that need to be executed based on the original version. This eliminates the need to manually run any post upgrade patches.
Aging with Charges Report
The aging with charges report was calculating the aging periods slightly different from the aging report. The result was that for sites that invoiced daily, ads billed on the first on the month could display incorrectly on the aging with charges report. It will now correctly match the aging report.
ASK Interface
Changed the do_ask.sh script to accept one Parameter of NOTICE ID which is used to determine the FTP rules to use when creating the interface file.
eTearAdBoss Interface
Initialize Require Delivery Method for eTearAdBoss to True
Only insertions that have a page number will be sent to eTearAdBoss.
Layout Ad Types
Added the option to initialize all products based on a specific product. This option can be called by highlighting the product to copy and then pressing the command key and selecting Initialize All Products.
This process will copy the ad types from the selected product to any product that has no ad types already assigned. If any ad types exist for a product, then the product will be skipped.
Order Entry
When a salesperson submits an order through quick order entry via CAS, a confirmation email can be sent to the email account of the CAS user. The form of the email is set in the retail web configuration option under AdMAX Parameters. If Salesperson Email Form is blank, then no email will be sent
When copying an ad, if you specify that you don't want to use the original ad as a pickup ad, then all of the pickup ad information will be cleared. Prior to this, the order number was still being copied from the original ad if it was filled in.
Product Maintenance
Added Paper and Edition ID to the selection list that is displayed when first entereing product maintenance.
Quick Order Entry (CAS)
Fixed unitialized user id when creating a ad from CAS.
Sales Maintenance
Changed the selection lists so that they can be sorted by the ID values as numbers and not as text.

Changed the message displayed before running the program to more accurately reflect the nature of the process. Users must log off to pick up the calendar changes. There is no restriction about running the process when users are logged in.
Custom Sales Report
Right clicking on the column in the total version of the report will now display an option to Modify Criteria. Selecting this will work the same as pressing ENTER on the column. It will display the criteria list for the column.

Added a module to export files for realmatch.com

Added info tips to the main dialog windows in Payment Entry. Disabled the Delay Charge field as it is not implemented at this time.
Order Entry
Fixed Order Total Cost pricing problem where the rates would not calculate an amount when Order Total Cost was specified in the rate.
Aging Report
Fixed uninitialized variable - HOLDAGINGOVERRIDE
Start Command
Added !bin/bash to the beginning of absstartx. This allows an xlaunch session to call /u/abs/com/absstartx without having to specify a bash or xterm before the command.
General Maintenance Messages
We changed the message that is displayed when asking to make a record inactive from
"You are about to delete this item."
to
"You are about to make this item inactive."
Inactive records are not removed from the database and can be restored. Deleted records are removed from the database.
AdMAX 10.55 (January 16, 2014)
Cash and Adjustment Posting
Payments submitted through the web portal will default to the base product if no product is selected for the sites that invoice at the product level. This will have no effect on sites that do not invoice at the product level or do not use the web portal for accepting payments for classified line ads.
Standard Interface for ASK
ASK is short of Advertiser Solutions Kalculator
Web Site: http://advertisersolutionskalculator.com/
This interface extracts revenue information for published ads and customer information for active customers.
For the purpose of this interface a customer is any account that has placed an ad in the last four years.
Revenue information is passed only from the first day of the preceding month to the end date of the third month in the future. Running the report in January extracts data from December thru April.
eBillAdBoss - E Statements
For sites that have eBillAdBoss and produce invoices by product, it is now possible to send an E Statement from AdMAX that includes all products in one pdf instead of producing one for each invoicing product.
Order Entry
Implemented the "Order Dual Incremental Cost" application rule in rate maintenance.
This calculates the rate using the incremental rate rules based on the rows in the rate table, and then multiplies it by the column value.
General Maintenance Screens
Added Page numbers to the Company, Product, Gl Interface, Contracts and Transaction Type maintenance screens.
Custom Sales Report
Modified the report so that it will support more fields when exporting in a tdf format. The prior version was limited to less that 250 characters.
Standard Internet Export
The export file names will now support variable tags
%YYYY% - The four digit year value. (2014 for 01/01/2014)
%YY% - The two digit year value (14 for 01/01/2014)
%MM% - The two digit month value (01 for 01/01/2014)
%DD% - The two digit day value (01 for 01/01/2014).
The tags are based on publication date used for the data extract.
TFN Renewal
Added an error list at the end to report any ads that fail to renew because the rate is not setup up or the advertiser is no longer active.
The TFN Renewal process was modified to look for ads that expire during the TFN renewal month. For example, if you run it for 01/15/14 or 01/16/14, it will look for any TFN ads that expire in Jan, 2014 and attempt to renew them for February. This means that most TFNs will renew on the first day of the month. TFNs renewal should continue to be run as part of the daily posting procedure.
