Get Ads

• When "Get Ads" is given an invalid SCS XML file, an Error message pops up. It clearly explains that the XML file is invalid. "Details" are available for IT and technical support staff.

Software Updates

• When a system administrator runs loadkit.sh, they are offered an on-disk backup. That backup process has been broken out to a separate script named "backup-standalone.sh". Here's why. A backup takes more time than the rest of the software update. In an effort to update Layout-8000 when it is not in use, SCS sometimes runs a backup overnight, then runs the software update early in the morning before users come in. Today's change facilitates that.
