Get Ads

• Layout-8000 can import Agency information from SCS XML files.
• Corrected the unit of measurement in cardex files that are automatically created by our adextract program.

StandbyAdBoss

• When Layout-8000 is configured to include standby ads "in ad extraction", standby ads are present in (1) the cardex file and (2) the Design & Dummy area's unplaced ad list.
• When the Mother of All Interfaces (MOAI) is not running, a few confusing error messages popped up. We improved the error message. It more clearly explains the problem and solution.
• Improved how Layout-8000 relays house ads from AdMAX to StandbyAdBoss.

Reports

• When Layout-8000 emails a report, the attached file name is configurable.

SQLAdBoss

• The ETL process expects more than 1,000 events. For an example, during one month at a newspaper group, 231,476 events were logged.

JSON Product Templates (Beta)

• JSON product templates have passed the "experimental" phase and are now a beta feature.
• If a site wants to use JSON templates, there are 2 ways to get there from here. The first is to wait for version 16. The second way to turn on this feature is as follows. (1) Install this version of Layout-8000. (2) Run Layout-8000. (3) Maintenance menu > System Maintenance > Local Layout Settings. (4) Add 2 settings here:
